Ryan Orlosky, DDS
Dr. Ryan Orlosky is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, & has traded in his “Yinz” for “Y’all” as a North Carolina resident since 2016. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in biology with honors & research distinction. During his undergraduate education, Dr. Orlosky worked with the Pelotonia research fellowship, an organization driven by its mission to support cancer research.
Dr. Orlosky received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh where he served as class president. He was recognized during his dental education by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry for his achievements in implant dentistry.
Dr. Orlosky has served as a licensed general dentist in North Carolina, serving the communities of Raleigh & Charlotte prior to his move to Asheville. He has completed further education, including an implant fellowship at the Triangle Dental Institute, which culminated in his fellowship award with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2017. In 2021 Dr. Orlosky received his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, demonstrating a commitment to continuing education & joining the 6% of general dentists to have earned this award. Dr. Orlosky has achieved certification through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics to provide Botox® therapy for patients with orofacial pain, bruxism, TMD, migraines & more.
Dr. Orlosky’s commitment to serve spans locally & abroad. He has led two mission trips to Jamaica to provide dental care to the community of Hopewell, St. Elizabeth, at the Helping Hand Dental Clinic. Dr. Orlosky has also worked with North Carolina’s Mission of Mercy, providing dental services at no cost to patients across the state.
