Sara Kahi, DMD

We are excited to welcome Dr. Sara Kahi as our new full-time dentist at Yurko Dental Excellence!

Dr. Kahi grew up in Tehran, where she began her academic journey in 2001 & earned her Bachelor’s degree in microbiology in 2005. Driven by a passion for helping others, she pursued dentistry & graduated with her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an international dental school in 2010. She went on to practice abroad for over five years, gaining valuable experience in comprehensive patient care.

After moving to the United States, Dr. Kahi continued to advance her career by working as a registered dental hygienist in Florida while preparing for her dental board examinations. In 2021, she was accepted into the prestigious International Dental Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she earned her DMD degree in 2023. Shortly after, she relocated to the beautiful city of Asheville, where she met her husband, Charles.

Dr. Kahi is passionate about blending the art & science of dentistry to deliver exceptional, personalized care. Her gentle approach & commitment to excellence ensure that every patient feels comfortable, valued & confident in their smile.

Outside of the office, Dr. Kahi enjoys traveling, cooking & baking. She & her husband share their home with their 15-year-old dog, Pany, & their five-year-old cat, Chester.
